On Friday, September 11, a webinar titled “Sustainable, Environmentally Friendly Transport in Latvia in the Era of Climate Protection and Digitalisation” will take place. Experts will discuss mobility, alternative fuels, taxation, and European Union funds as key instruments for implementing sustainable transport solutions in Latvia.
The event will be held remotely on the Zoom online platform from 12:00 to 13:00. Participation is free of charge.
During the webinar, presentations will be delivered and participant questions answered by Andris Kužnieks, Acting Head of the European Commission Representation in Latvia; Jānis Butāns, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Transport; Jānis Andiņš, Senior Sustainable Transport and Mobility Expert at the Riga Energy Agency; and Ojārs Karčevskis, Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Fuel Traders Association. The webinar will be moderated by Armands Gūtmanis, Director of Meta Advisory.
The webinar is organised by the consultancy Meta Advisory in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Latvia and RISEBA University. It is part of a series of green webinars aimed at encouraging companies and municipalities to recognise the importance of investing in sustainable business competitiveness.
